It’s the second weekend of May, and that electricity is in the air…VBLI’s Summer Series is back and kicks off with an all-day VolleyParty at the park. Take your pick of formats, roll up with your friends and start off the outdoor season on a high note!

Happy Pride Month! While welcome all year-round, the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies are invited to ball out for a great cause. Dab yourselves up in rainbow-colored everything and indulge in the colorful vibes…but don’t forget to bring that same old VolleyIntensity.

The country is another year older, and that’s a good enough reason to party! The volleyball courts are summoning everyone near and afar for some great exercise in-between hitting up the barbecues and cookouts. Dress up in those red, white and blue colors and show Nickerson Beach Park your colors.

Why celebrate the holiday season in November/December when the Summer weather alone is reason enough! Let’s show Long Island that the time of year is merely a suggestion and volleyball players bring the festivities wherever they go. Deck yourselves out in holiday-specific flourishes while you play.

Perhaps it's wearing some wackadoo anime fashions or hair styles, or a classic superhero outfit that naturally lends itself to an athletic competition…regardless, this day is all about escaping from the real world into this other-worldly dimension where Volleyball and Con-life unite!

In partnership with Christian Herr a.k.a "PME Volleyball," the Kaya's Kids tournament is another exciting and wholesome day of VolleyFun in the sun as the community rallies behind an amazing cause.

This staple of the Summer Series returns to pay its respect to First Responders everywhere for their acts of heroism and service to the community.

While it’s sad that the Summer has come to an end, the Fall aesthetic is a different sort of awesome! This epic conclusion to the 2025 Summer Series doubles as an introduction to the fan-favorite Spooky Season.
